Tintinan
Tintinan is an island barangay, one of the 44 barangays of the municipality of Ubay, in the province of Bohol, Philippines.

The barangay's total land area is 32 hectares (79 acres).[4] Tintinan is the smallest barangay in the municipality. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 707, with a population density of 2,300 inhabitants per square kilometre (6,000/sq mi) making it the second most densely populated barangay in the municipality. [2]
Tintinan celebrates its annual fiesta on 29 September in honor of their patron saint.
Location
Located off the eastern coast of the municipality, Tintinan is completely surrounded by the Bohol Sea. To the north is Cuya and to the west is the municipality of Mabini. It is approximately 7 nautical miles (13 km; 8.1 mi) from the town center, Poblacion.

There are seven puroks overseen by the elected kagawad.
Facilities and Services
Being an island barangay, Tintinan became the last village in the municipality of Ubay to fully receive a round-the-clock electricity. On February 24, 2021, Tintinan finally gained a full power supply access upon the completion of P24-M submarine cable which connects the island to the Bohol mainland which made by possible through government's Island Barangay Energization Program of National Electrification Administration (NEA). A ceremony was held at the island with representatives from NEA, Bohol Electric Company, and with local politicians including representative Erico Aristotle Aumentado and mayor Constantino Reyes.[1]
