The frequency was formerly owned by Mandaue Broadcasting Center under the call letters DYPC affiliated with Vimcontu Broadcasting Corporation, which former frequencies of the station in Mandaue, from its inception on June 16, 2013 until it went off the air in July 2019. On May 8, 2021, St. Elijah Christian Institute of Technology Foundation, Inc. relaunched the station in Carcar as 88.7 Victory FM.
