The song was composed by band member Marie Louise Werth and was inspired by her boyfriend at the time, Hubert John.[1]
Furbaz performed 18th on the night of the contest, following Cyprus' Fani Polymeri and Giannis Savvidakis singing "Apopse As Vrethume" and preceding Greece's Mariana Efstratiou singing "To Dhiko Su Asteri". The song received 47 points, placing 13th in a field of 22.
The song was succeeded as Swiss representative at the 1990 contest by Egon Egemann singing "Musik klingt in die Welt hinaus".
