Wang Shanshan

Wang Shanshan (Chinese: 王珊珊; pinyin: Wáng Shānshān; born 27 January 1990) is a Chinese association football player.

Career

Wang Shanshan played at the 2011 Summer Universiade.[2] She made her China women's national football team debut in March 2012, versus Germany.[3] In April 2015 she scored in China PR's 2–1 friendly defeat by England at Academy Stadium.[4]

At the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup, Wang Shanshan had been advertised as a defender but was deployed as a centre-forward by Hao Wei.[5]

At the 2018 Asian Games, she scored 9 goals in a match against Tajikistan after appearing as a 56th minute substitute.[6]
