Yandex.News (Russian: Яндекс.Новости) is a Russian online news aggregator developed by Yandex. It has been operating since June 21 2000. It functions in RSS 2.0.[1]

Operations
The service aggregates a news publications from various media that collaborate with Yandex (in Russia and other countries).
The news information is grouped into plots. From there, the information picture of the day is then formed. It is done automatically, without a human intervention. With this setup, any event is covered from different points of view.
Besides the texts, the presentation of information also include photos and videos.
Partners of Yandex.News (whose publications are aggregated in service) are both polythematic in nature.
As of August 2016 Yandex.News had around 6700 partners.[1][2][3][4]
As of 2016, it has a monthly audience over 25 million users. The figure increased to over 30 million in 2019.
Many media outlets receive a significant portion of their visitors through Yandex.News.
For example, as of July 2019 Interfax had 35.9% of visitors from Yandex.News.[2][5][6]
