Yawd Serk
General Yawd Serk (Shan: ယွတ်ႈသိုၵ်း, Burmese: ရွက်ဆစ်) is a Shan ethnic and political leader of the Shan State[1] in Myanmar (Burma), who is currently (March 20, 2021) chairman of the Restoration Council of Shan State and commander in chief of the Shan State Army (RCSS/SSA) [2][3] He is a major contributor to peace talks between major Shan rebel factions and the government of Myanmar in the 2000s and 2010s.
