Əmiranlar

Əmiranlar (Amiranlar) or Kajavan (Armenian: Քաջավան) is a village de facto in the Martuni Province of the self-proclaimed Republic of Artsakh, de jure in the Khojavend District of Azerbaijan. The village had an Azerbaijani-majority population prior to their expulsion during the First Nagorno-Karabakh War.[2]

History

During the Soviet period, the village was a part of the Martuni District of the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast.

Demographics

The village had an ethnic Armenian-majority population of 99 inhabitants in 2005.[1]
