2022 Cincinnati Bearcats football team
The 2022 Cincinnati Bearcats football team will represent the University of Cincinnati in the 2022 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Bearcats play their home games at Nippert Stadium and compete as members of the American Athletic Conference. They are led by sixth-year head coach Luke Fickell.

The 2022 season will be the program's last season as an AAC, the Bearcats will join Big 12 in 2023.
Previous season
In 2021, the Bearcats finished with a 13–0 (8–0 AAC) record, winning the AAC Championship Game against Houston. It was the second consecutive AAC championship in program history. The Bearcats were ranked No. 4 in the final College Football Playoff rankings, becoming the first Group of Five team to make the playoffs.[1] The Bearcats were selected to participate in the Cotton Bowl as part of the College Football Playoff against Alabama.

Schedule
The Bearcats' 2022 schedule consists of six home games, five away games, and one neutral site game. Cincinnati will host two of its four non-conference games; against Kennesaw State (FCS) and Indiana. They will travel to Arkansas and have a neutral site matchup with Miami (OH) for their annual Victory Bell game at Paul Brown Stadium.
