2021 Cotton Bowl Classic

The 2021 Cotton Bowl Classic is a college football bowl game that will be played on December 31, 2021, with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 EST (2:30 p.m. local CST) on ESPN.[3] The Cotton Bowl Classic will be one of two College Football Playoff semifinal games, with the winner advancing to the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship. It will be the 86th edition of the Cotton Bowl Classic, and will be one of the 2021–22 bowl games concluding the 2021 FBS football season. Sponsored by the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, the game will be officially known as the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic. This game is the first ever College Football Playoff game to feature a Group of 5 team.
