2022 European Masters

The 2022 European Masters, referred to as the BetVictor European Masters for sponsorship purposes, is an upcoming professional ranking snooker tournament that will take place from 22 to 27 February 2022 at the Stadthalle Fürth in Fürth, Germany.[1] It will be the 11th ranking event of the 2021–22 season and a part of the European Series.

Qualifying for the event took place between 27 and 31 October 2021 at the Chase Leisure Centre in Cannock, England.[2] The defending champion will be Mark Selby, who defeated Martin Gould in the final of the September 2020 edition 9–8.[3]

Qualifying

Qualifying for the event took place between 27 and 31 October 2021 at the Chase Leisure Centre in Cannock, England. Qualifying matches which involve the top 4 ranked players are held over and played at the Stadthalle Fürth.[4]

Mark Williams was due to take part in qualifying, but withdrew from the event due to a positive COVID-19 test and was replaced by Mark Lloyd.[5] Sam Craigie withdrew due to injury, his place was taken in the draw by James Cahill, but Cahill produced a positive lateral flow COVID-19 test so Soheil Vahedi received a bye.[6] Michael White also withdrew and was replaced by Simon Blackwell.
