Agham Kot

Agham Kot (Urdu: اگهم کوٹ) is founded by powerful king Agham Lohana of Lohana tribe.[1] It is a ruined city located in Badin District, Sindh, Pakistan.[2][3][4][5]

There are relic of a fort that date back to Pre-Muslim times of Sindh. The city is also referred to as Aghamano. The city is named after Agham Lohana, who was the founder of this town in the 7th century. The town was conquered by Chach of Alor by trick Agham Lohana. The site is also the burial of many saints and mystics. The city was completely destroyed by Afghan invader Madad Khan Pathan who plundered the city. [6][7]
