Mouna Raagam (TV series)
Mouna Raagam (transl. Silent Symphony) is a 2017 Indian Musical-Tamil language drama series which premiered on 24 April 2017 which premiered on Star Vijay or Disney+Hotstar. The show is produced by actress Chippy Renjith. The series has two seasons. First season of the story stars with the seven-year-old Sakthi (Krithika Khelge) is born with a talent. She is able to sing any tune, any musical rhythm, and find music from any sort of noise. She has the ability to learn any kind of music. But her life takes difficult turns. Her father has left her mother, and she has to listen to a lot of remarks and face pointed questions from people. After 12-year leap, it continues as its second season with vicenarian Sakthi (Raveena Daha).

Synopsis
Season 1
Kadhambari (Kaadhu maa) , a rich, argumentative girl spoiler by her parents and was married to Karthik Krishna, a famous singer. They give birth to Shruthi. As the story goes, it was revealed that before the marriage of Karthik, he falls for Malliga , a village girl but unfortunately Karthik leaves the village and under pressure from his family , he marries kadhambari leaving Malliga pregnant and gives birth to Shakthi, who doesn't know the name of her father and likes singing. Kadhambari accidentally kills Mallika and escapes. When Shakthi's maternal aunt tries to sell her as she have the ability to sing well, she escapes from her. Disguised as a boy, she reaches Chennai and adopted by Karthik's brother Murali and his wife Nandhini. From the beginning, Kadhambari and her family hated Shakthi. Months passed and finally Murali and Nandhini learns about Shakthi's past and that she is Karthik's elder daughter. But they keep it a secret in fear of Kadhambari. Eventually, everyone in the family learn that Shakthi is Karthik's daughter. Kadhambari and her daughter Shruthi were infuriated. Meanwhile, Mallika is alive, taking treatment in a Ayurveda Hospital suffering from Memory Loss due to the accident. Later, Shakthi, Mallika and Karthik reunite and Mallika is bought Karthik's home. Mallika's pleasing words made Shruthi and Shakthi friends which made Kadhambari more angry. Later, she spoils Shruthi's mind and turns against Mallika and Shakthi. When Karthik introduces Mallika and Shakthi as his wife and daughter in an award show, Shruthi leaves home in anger. Kadhambari is affected mentally on Shruthi's disappearance. Shruthi is kidnapped by Guru, Raghav's brother. Raghav is Kadhambari's boyfriend during college days who tells that Shruthi is his daughter and not Karthik's due to their relationship and eventually blackmails her. In a spree, Kadhambari kills Raghav and later blackmailed by his brother Guru. Karthik, Mallika and Nandhini learns this truth but didn't ask anything to Kadhambari. Everyone in the family is searching for Shruthi. Meanwhile, Shakthi take care of Kadhambari as a mother. Guru's mother Raghavi decides to make Shruthi escape from Guru's captivity. Shruthi came back home. She blames Sakthi and Mallika for her disappearance while Mallika and Sakthi leave the house for Shruthi.
Season 2
After 12 years, Shakthi and Mallika are seen living in Kodaikanal. Shakthi's name was changed as Sathya One day there is a concert at a Temple nearby. Karthik and Shruthi arrive. Shruthi is unable to sing so someone their who knew Shakthi said that Sakthi sings well. Sakthi agrees since she will earn money for her mother's surgery. Karthik gets impressed by Shakthi's singing but he doesn't notice it is Sakthi since she says her name is Sathya and wrong info about her family. The next day, Malliga finds out Sakthi sang with Karthik Krishna and scolds Shakthi but later forgives her. One day Sakthi gets an email from a school in Chennai for her to be a music teacher. It is Karthik's school but Shakthi does not know that. She asks Malliga if they can go but Mallika doesn't agree even if she has to take a surgery in Chennai but when her health worsens she agrees only if she promises to not get in touch with her family. Sakthi and Malliga leave to Chennai. After a few days on arriving, Shakthi learn that her father is the owner of the school but hides it from Malliga. Kadhambari wants to get Shruthi and Varun married but Karthik does not agree at first but he later agrees. However, Shruthi wants to marry Tharun (Varun's brother) and thinks that they are getting her married to him. But Tharun falls in love with Sakthi. One day Karthik finds out about Varun's health conditions and lashes out at Manoharan (Varun and Tharun's father) for hiding it. On Tharun's 25th Birthday, Shruthi is about to propose Tharun but Tharun proposes Shakthi leaving Shruthi hurt. But Shakthi disagrees since her mother said to Tharun to not fall in love with her. At that same time Mallika learns that Sakthi works at Karthik's school and she faints. Shakthi arrives home and sees her fainted and panics. Just then Tharun and Sheela (Manoharan's sister) arrive and take her to the hospital. The doctor said that you have to do the surgery soon but it costs 5 lakhs for the surgery. Tharun offers to help but Shakthi disagrees and tells him to leave the hospital. Shruthi arrives at the hospital and says that she can pay the money but again Shakthi doesn't agree. A nurse says that there is a website where you can put a video asking for money and she gets 1 lakh rupees. Kadhambari sees the video and asks the nurse about Shakthi's mother information and name. The nurse lies and says another name. Kadhambari tells her to delete the video and that she will pay so the nurse deletes it but Kadhambari hates Satya and is suspicious if she is Shakthi. The doctor says that anything can happen to Mallika's life at anytime. Karthik family ill-treats Varun, so he is in dilemma. He behaves rude towards his family and tried to suicide but Shakthi arrived there and saved him from suicide. Shakthi advices him that leads Varun impressed by her words and loved her. However Manohar arrived in hospital and donated 5 lakh rupees for Malliga's treatment but his condition towards Shakthi is marriage to Varun. She accepted and married Varun. Tharun was shocked to see that Shakthi as his sister-in-law. In order to marry Tharun, the trio (Shruthi, Kadambari and Rukhmani) joins with Sheila and process further to have Tharun married to Shruthi.

Release and Marketing
On 7 April 2017, the first promo of the show 'Odum Meenum Ketkum' Song was released by STAR Vijay on Facebook. On 16 April 2017, the second, promos of the show 'Odum Meenum Ketkum' (1 Minute Song) was released by STAR Vijay TV on YouTube.[9]
It was 2nd Musical Series in Tamil-language Series after Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. Also a remake of Malayalam TV Serial "Vanambadi"
