Channel 16 (Bangladesh)

Channel 16 (Bengali: চ্যানেল সিক্সটিন; in reference to 16 December) was a music entertainment channel in Bangladesh, operated by Insight Telecast and Channel 16 Company Ltd. This is 1st music channel in Bangladesh . The channel's official transmission began on December 16, 2011. It was the first and the sole music channel in Bangladesh until the launch of Gaan Bangla in 2013.channel-16 entrepreneur person name is Khondoker golam Moheet .chairman name is Khondoker golam Morsheed . This is family owned channel .

It opened the new chapter by extending its transmission of Music Bangla programs and Bengali culture in UK, USA, and Canada, some parts of Europe, Middle East and beyond. After the expiration of its test run permission, Channel 16 ceased broadcasting on December 2, 2014.[1]
