Dobropillia
Dobropillia (Ukrainian: Добропілля, Russian: Доброполье — Dobropolye) is a city of oblast significance in Donetsk Oblast (province) of Ukraine. It also serves as the administrative center of the Dobropillia Raion, though it does not belong to the raion.

Population: 40,064 (1989);[1] 28,757 (2021 est.)[2] Distance to Donetsk - 94 kilometres (58 mi).
History
A local newspaper is published here since February 1935.[3]
During the Second World War, the settlement was occupied by Axis troops. City since 1953. In 1970, the population of the city was 30 thousand people, the basis of the economy was coal mining.[4][5]
