The song was performed sixth of the night, following Spain's Paloma San Basilio with "La fiesta terminó" and preceding Turkey's MFÖ with "Didai didai dai (Aşık Oldum)". At the close of voting, it had received 56 points, placing 10th in a field of 19.
The song is a ballad in praise of womanhood, with Bens singing that the title character is a woman at all times – even in her dreams.
It was succeeded as French representative at the 1986 contest by Cocktail Chic with "Européennes".
