The song was performed nineteenth and last on the night, following Luxembourg's Margo, Franck Olivier, Diane Solomon, Ireen Sheer, Malcolm Roberts and Chris Roberts with "Children, Kinder, Enfants". At the close of voting, it had received 15 points, placing 16th in a field of 19.
The song is a ballad, with Biniaris singing to his lover that despite their differences they are alike – and they must remember that.
Greece picked a song for the 1986 contest, which was "Wagon-lit" by Polina, but they ultimately did not perform. Thus, it was succeeded as Greek representative at the 1987 contest by Bang with "Stop".
