Liechtenstein–Turkey relations are the foreign relations between Liechtenstein and Turkey.

Historical Relations

Turkey established diplomatic relations with Liechtenstein only in 1992 because Switzerland[1] had taken responsibility for Liechtenstein’s foreign relations until early 1990s.[2] Turkey is accredited to Liechtenstein from its embassy in Bern, Switzerland since October 2, 1991 [3] and maintains an honorary consulate in Vaduz.[4]

Economic Relations

Economically, EFTA countries, with which Turkey has a foreign trade agreement in place,[5] are significant markets for Turkish exporters and investors.[6]

Trade Relations
  • Trade volume between the two countries was 7 million USD in 2017 (Turkish exports/imports: 4/3 million USD).[7]
