Nauru–Turkey relations
Nauru–Turkey relations are foreign relations between Nauru and Turkey. The Turkish ambassador in Canberra, Australia is also accredited to Nauru.[1]

Diplomatic Relations
Turkey and Nauru have friendly relations. Both countries cooperated on recognizing Kosovo as an independent country in 2008.[2] Relations became tense in 2009 when Nauru— reportedly in exchange for US$50—million became the fourth country to recognize Abkhazia, which Turkey considers to be part of Georgia.[3]
In 2018, Turkey has supported the Amnesty International in expressing concern for the children refugees on the island suffer from Uppgivenhetssyndrom or traumatic withdrawal syndrome as a consequence of the refugee policy of Australia, which relies on Nauru to house asylum claimants.[3]
