Background

The first MPL Philippines tournament was held in SM Mall of Asia from June 30 to July 1 2018. The number of esports teams were reduced into 8 to fight for the $50,000 cash prize.[1] In the end Aether Main was the first team to win in MPL- Philippines.[2]
