Niazi
The Niazi (Pashto: نيازي, Niāzī; IPA: [niːˈɑːziː]), Niazai, Nyazi, Nyazai, Niyazi or Niyazai is a Pashtun tribe which resides in Afghanistan and North-Western Pakistan.[1]
In Afghanistan, the area around Qila Niazi in Gardez, Paktia Province is predominantly inhabited by the tribe.

- Mohammad Khan Niazi: Afghan nobleman of high rank in the Mughal court during emperor Akbar and Jahangir's reign. He was given modern day Wardha district cities of Ashti, Talegaon, Amner, and Pavnar as jagir. He died in modern day Ashti, Maharashtra, India, in A.D. 1627 where a Mughal styled mausoleum was constructed to commemorate him.[2]
- Ahmad Khan Niazi: Afghan nobleman in the Mughal court during emperor Jahangir's reign. He was the son of Mohammad Khan Niazi. He died in A.D. 1651 and his a tomb at Ashti, Wardha district in Maharashtra, India. He also built a little mosque at Ashti which is known as Jama Masjid Maqbara.[3][2]
