They Can't Stop the Spring

"They Can't Stop the Spring" is a song by Irish band Dervish, written by John Waters and Tommy Moran. It was chosen as the Irish entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 on 16 February 2007, on The Late Late Show. The song qualified directly for the Eurovision final (owing to Ireland's tenth placing in the 2006 event), but came last in the final[1] receiving only five points from Albania's backup jury.
