Vanathai Pola (transl. Just like the sky) is a 2020 Tamil-language drama airing on Sun TV. It premiered on 7 December 2020.[1] The show stars Thaman Kumar and Debjani Modak .[2]

Plot

The series demonstrates the bond that Chinrasu and his sister Thulasi share. They lost their parents at a young age and were brought up by their grandmother. Chinrasu plans to find someone to marry his sister and searches for the perfect groom. As Thulasi doesn’t want to leave her brother, she postpones her marriage. Then, Thulasi falls in love with the Panchayat board officer, who is Chinrasu's enemy. The crux of the story is what happens between Chinrasu and Thulasi, whether Thulasi marries the groom chosen by Chinrasu, and how this affects their bond. Chinrasu would accept the person who is working as a Panchayat board officer, if his sister Thulasi wishes. One of Chinrasu's relatives, Rajapandi, is also interested in marrying Thulasi, but he is not regarded as an ideal match because he smokes and drinks. When Rajapandi and the village Panchayat board officer meet face to face, the quarrel begins.
