Ecclesia Pistis Sophia, or the Sophian Fellowship, is a Gnostic church organization based in the United States.

History
Although members claim that it dates back to at least the 1700s in Britain,[3] the current Sophian Gnostic spiritual lineage was first started in the 1880s by Tau Miriam, an Englishwoman who moved to the United States in the early 1900s and became the spiritual teacher of Tau Elijah,[4][5] also known as Timothy Storlie.[6]
In 1983, Tau Elijah died and passed his spiritual lineage onto Tau Malachi eben Ha-Elijah, who then founded the Sophia Fellowship that same year. Tau Malachi is the current bishop of Ecclesia Pistis Sophia.[1][7] The church is currently registered in Wichita Falls, Texas and Grass Valley, California.
