Launceston Central (electoral division)

Launceston Central (Cornish: Lannstevan Kres)[1] is an electoral division of Cornwall in the United Kingdom and returns one member to sit on Cornwall Council. The current Councillor is Gemma Massey, a Liberal Democrat.[2]

Extent

Launceston Central covers the centre and north of Launceston, including the suburbs of St Thomas, Chapel and Kensey Valley Meadow. The suburb of Newport is shared with Launceston North and North Petherwin.[3] The division covers 206 hectares in total.[4]
