Mount Charles (electoral division)

Mount Charles (Cornish: Mont Charlys)[1] is an electoral division of Cornwall in the United Kingdom and returns one member to sit on Cornwall Council. The current councillor is Richard Pears, a Conservative.[2]

There was also a Mount Charles division on Restormel Borough Council from 2003,[3] and on Cornwall County Council from 2005,[4] until both were abolished in 2009.

Mount Charles covers the south of the town of St Austell, including the suburb of Mount Charles.[5] The division covers 142 hectares in total.[6]
