Qışlaq, Khojaly

Qışlaq (Gyshlag) or Tsaghkashat (Armenian: Ծաղկաշատ) is a village de facto in the Askeran Province of the self-proclaimed Republic of Artsakh, de jure in the Khojaly District of Azerbaijan.

Toponymy

The village is also known as Keshish Kand and Kishlagkend.

History

During the Soviet period, the village was a part of the Askeran District of the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast.

Demographics

The village has an ethnic Armenian-majority population, had 200 inhabitants in 2005,[2] and 172 inhabitants in 2015.[1]
