Yeh Hai Chahatein

Rudra goes after Preesha, apologising and confessing his love to her passionately in the rain. He falls at her feet in front of the entire family. They go off for their honeymoon to start their relationship afresh. Their honeymoon gets interrupted with the return of evil Mahima, Saransh's mother.

Preesha finally confesses her love to Rudra and they share a kiss at Christmas. Mahima finds out about their plan through Yuvraj and continuously destroys the evidence against her. She switches Rudra with a doppelganger, Bhuvan, making Preesha misunderstand that she slept with fake Rudra which breaks Preesha's heart who then starts hating Rudra.

Balraj learns the truth and is murdered by Mahima and Bhuvan. The real Rudra is arrested. Preesha then realises the imposter did not have real Rudra's birthmark. Mahima is arrested. Rudra and Preesha are finally happy and have a possessive moment where Rudra pulls her hair and kisses her saying that nobody will separate them again.

Kabir tricks Ahana into helping them obtain the property by marrying him to receive custody of Saransh. Kabir gets Rudra kidnapped with Mahima's help. Preesha goes undercover and saves him while Mahima flees.

The family moves to Goa. Preesha plots to stop Kabir and Ahana's marriage, she instead gets Ahana married to Yuvraj. Ahana flees to London. Rudra becomes upset with Preesha but makes up with her later as he gives her CPR, after saving her from drowning. Mishka and Kabir elope and get married. They get custody of Saransh and then later kidnap him. Mishka threatens to blow up herself and Saransh if the police are involved. Rudra manages the situation but things take a tragic turn when Preesha secretly brings the police. Saransh and Mishka  are presumed dead. Rudra blames Preesha for Saaransh's death. She blames him for not trusting her against his mother and brother earlier.

Rudra and Preesha part ways and sign divorce papers. Rudra promises to never sing again after losing his son and Preesha almost falls off a cliff but is saved by Armaan Thakur.

Rudra and Preesha finally meet in Goa. Rudra misunderstands that Preesha is married to Armaan and they have a bitter confrontation at the party where he roughly dances with her. Rudra passionately corners her a crying Preesha, dragging her into the bathroom. She lies to him saying she has moved on.  Later, Rudra makes Preesha jealous and proposes to Devika. Preesha requests him to stop playing with Devika's feelings and Rudra asks Preesha if his touch still affects her.

Rudra convinces Preesha to return to Delhi. Preesha gets affected by seeing Rudra and Devika's roka ceremony, he then locks Preesha up with him where he says he will cancel the wedding as soon as she confesses she still loves him.

The wedding festivities begin with Rudra and Preesha constantly making each other jealous. Goons attack Preesha, Rudra saves her, they have an emotional moment where Preesha almost gives in yet Armaan catches them in a compromising position.

Rudra learns that Mishka is still alive with Ahaana. Preesha vows to find their son together. They rent an apartment together to spy on them. While living together, Rudra and Preesha remember old times and she keeps trying  to resist Rudra. Ahaana  makes up a story saying she adopted a daughter named Krishna who they were believing was Saaransh. Rudra and Preesha grieve together. Rudra tells Preesha that he still wants them to be together.

On the wedding day Armaan and Devika find out about Rudra and Preesha being married. Devika is found dead. Preesha is arrested and Rudra promises to get her out. At the trial, Preesha gets accused of living with Rudra  and having an affair with him, killing Devika out of jealousy. Rudra learns out it was his mother, Sulochana who was responsible. He saves Preesha and Sulochana  is sentenced for five years. Armaan stops Preesha from returning to Rudra by emotionally pressuring her using Anvi and swears he will do anything to keep them apart.  

Rudra sets the room on fire and takes Preesha away to another hotel. Preesha is drunk but she gets happy seeing Rudra and seduces him. Both are about to kiss and she passes out much to Rudra's amusement. Next morning, he pranks her saying they slept together. She remembers it's his birthday and he tells her all he wants on his birthday is for her to come back to him. Armaan and Rudra fight. Rudra gets critically injured. Preesha becomes furious at Armaan and once Rudra wakes up, Preesha confesses how much she loves him. Preesha apologizes to Armaan and he tells her that she can go back to Rudra.

At their date before she can tell Rudra she never married Armaan, he gets a call from Bunty about his recording studio being sold and he surmises that Saransh is still alive if the trust fund is being used. The next day Anvi's biological mother and Armaan's wife, Sania Dobash, tells him she will reveal Ahana's whereabouts  if he marries her. Rudraksh orchestrates a fake wedding with her to gain information about Saransh but does not tell Preesha.

Seeing the new couple together infuriates Preesha and refuses to believe Rudra. Sania tries her best to keep hurting Preesha till Rudra lashes out.  At Rudra's hotel, Preesha organises a party for Armaan's clients and gets Rudra to serve. She makes Rudra jealous and then later drags him into the men's bathroom where she seduces him. Rudra gets nervous when she kisses him. Preesha hires a Private investigator and finds out Sania is Anvi's mother and Armaan's wife.

Preesha hires goons so that Rudra would defend her. Sania blackmails Rudra to tarnish Preesha's fathers reputation. On their wedding anniversary, Rudra and Preesha both cut cake together but Sania manipulates the situation in a way that Preesha misunderstands it was Rudra who hurt her father and she slaps him heartbroken. Preesha asks Armaan to marry as the last attempt in trying to get Rudra to confess. GPS tells Rudra that Preesha never married Armaan. Rudra tells Sania that she has to help him find Saaransh before Preesha's wedding and that their marriage was fake. It's then revealed that Sania was hired by Armaan to separate Rudra and Preesha. Sania takes Rudra away on a chase to find Saaransh when Ahaana and Mishka are about to flee the county with Krishna.

Rudra arrives to stop the wedding telling Preesha he loves her very much and that their son is alive. She tells him she never got married and that she knew everything. She presents Krishna to him and reveals he is Saaransh's showing him his birthmark.

Rudra and Preesha are overjoyed as they embrace Saaransh but he does not remember them yet; they promise they will try their best to bring his memory back. Ahaana and Mishka get arrested. Armaan says he wants to get Rudra and Preesha married again but secretly wants to plot to break them up.

Rudra and Preesha celebrate their roka happily but just before they exchange rings, despite Anvi trying to stop it. The next morning at the Haldi, Rudra openly flirts with Preesha much to Armaan's annoyance and Rudra starts getting suspicious towards Armaan. At the mehendi, Armaan manipulates Anvi saying that Preesha now cares for Saaransh more than her.  At the sangeet, Rudra sings “will you marry me”, their special song for Preesha which helps Saaransh remember some things. Rudra whisks Preesha away and says to sleep well as after their wedding he will not let her sleep.

On the morning of the South Indian wedding, Preesha and Rudra are extremely happy as the wedding starts off. Armaan hides the mangalsutra after making Anvi and Saransh fight but Rudra manages to find it. Rudra and Preesha get married again. Rudra tells Preesha that he wants to take her home but Preesha tells him they have to wait for the Punjabi wedding. Armaan and Sania suggest Rudra and Preesha to have a bachelor party.  At the bachelorette party, Rudra shows up to the thakur hour dressed as the male dancer trying to strip but Preesha possessively stops him. Armaan tries to get Rudra drunk at the bachelor party so Rudra does not wake up for the Punjabi wedding. Rudra tells Armaan that he was suspecting him for a while and therefore knew what Armaan was planning. Rudra and Preesha get married with all the Punjabi rituals and Preesha gives Rudra the infinity mangalsutra she saved from their first wedding. Saaransh gets pushed by Anvi and then remembers everything.  Armaan promises Sania he will ruin their wedding night and separate them, he refuses to give up.

Preesha has a grand graha pravesh at Khurana house. Armaan sneaks into Khurana house from the window and puts itching powder on their bed. Rudra finally sneaks Preesha away into their bedroom. He kisses and carries her to bed. They both start feeling itchy and Rudra realises someone has messed with them but refuses to let their wedding night be spoiled. He takes Preesha to their bathroom, they take a shower together. Later Preesha sets up a mattress on the floor and they both again try get intimate. Anvi interrupts much to Rudra's annoyance. Rudra goes to thakur house and openly threatens Armaan saying he knows what he is doing. Preesha tells Rudra she wants him to be a Rockstar again and they go meet Mr Ahuja together.

Rudra and Preesha find out from Mr Ahuja his concert is soon, also their lawyers tell them they are finally legal guardians of Saaransh and have managed to get all their property back which makes the Khurana's very happy. At their date Rudra gives Preesha a bunch of costumes worn by popular heroines and they role play to fulfil his fantasies, Sharda interrupts them just as they are getting intimate and tells them about Anvi having fever.

Mr Ahuja plans a Navratri even at Khurana house to promote Rudra's comeback concert. Fans and press  get happy seeing ‘RuSha’ together. Armaan behaves inappropriately with Preesha after dancing with her. Preesha tells him to stay in his limits as she is a married woman. She tries to tell Rudra but they get busy with their dance performance. At the press conference, they tell everyone they are happy to be back as a family which makes Anvi jealous. Later on at night, Saaransh sleeps with them in their bed which frustrates Rudra. He tells Preesha that he has planned a private getaway for them at a resort early morning. Much to Rudra's horror the entire family along with the Thakurs show up at the resort.

The Khurana's and the Thakurs spend quality time together singing and playing basketball. As they are leaving, Anvi gets a car to run over Saaransh but Sharda saves him and gets injured instead. Rudra and Preesha tell Armaan they cannot let Anvi be punished as she is a kid, Rudra still suspects Armaan. Sharda recovers.

Mr Ahuja tells Rudra he has to leave for Shimla for a month for his concert tour. Preesha gets Anvi and Saaransh to make peace and they both leave for Shimla. Armaan and Sania arrive posing to be fixing their marriage. Rudra struggles during his rehearsal as he misses Preesha and she shows up and inspires him to sing. Armaan gets their room to be flooded and offers them to share his suite. Rudra's performs brilliantly at his concert with Preesha's support. Armaan tells Mr Ahuja to give him a drink that would damage his voice. Rudra has a panic attack when he loses his voice but Preesha figures it out and gives him the medicine he needs. Rudraksh dedicates a special life song to Preesha who he dances with on stage and his concert is a super hit. Rudra and Preesha plan for their special night at the after party.

Rudra has a massive argument with Armaan who admits he has been messing with them. He asks Rudra to swap wives for one night which infuriates Rudra. Rudra beats him up in front of everyone and Armaan spikes his drink. Rudra arrives in his room highly upset leaving Preesha confused. They both get intimate as she tries to calm him down. Armaan tells Sania to trap Rudra, she calls him to his room saying Armaan is hurting her. Rudra leaves behind a sleeping Preesha. Armaan and Sania set a trap for Rudra.
