N81 highway (Philippines)

National Route 81 (N81) is a 34.6-kilometer (21.5 mi), east-west primary[1] route which forms part of the Philippine Highway network in Cebu connecting the cities of Naga and Toledo.[2][3] Two roads form the route, namely: Naga−Uling Road and Cebu−Toledo Wharf Road (from Toledo to Uling).[4]

          History

          When the highway routes were assigned in 2014, The segment of Cebu−Toledo Road Wharf Road from Barangay Lutopan to Poblacion except Toledo Port and Naga−Uling Road were assigned as N81.

          Route Description

          Toledo to Uling

          The route starts in Cebu−Toledo Wharf Road from a route change from N826 and Toledo−Pinamungahan−Aloguinsan−Mantalongon Road (N820).[4]

          Uling to Naga

          After the junction of Naga−Uling Road, the route changes at Cebu-Toledo Wharf Road to N825 and entirely continues at the former. It makes a junction as the southern terminus of the under construction Metro Cebu Expressway.[4][5] The route meets its southern terminus at Natalio Bacalso Avenue, a component of N8.[4]
