2021 Military Bowl
The 2021 Military Bowl is a college football bowl game that will be played on December 27, 2021, with kickoff scheduled for 2:30 p.m. EST on ESPN.[2] It will be the 13th edition of the Military Bowl (after the 2020 edition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic), and will be one of the 2021–22 bowl games concluding the 2021 FBS football season. Sponsored by American technology company Peraton, the game will officially be known as the Military Bowl presented by Peraton.

Teams
Consistent with conference tie-ins, the game features teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and the American Athletic Conference (AAC).
This will be the first time that East Carolina and Boston College have ever played each other.[3]
East Carolina Pirates
East Carolina became the first FBS team to accept a bowl bid when they accepted an invitation on November 27 to the Military Bowl, following their loss to Cincinnati the day before.[4]
