2021 Sun Bowl

The 2021 Sun Bowl is a college football bowl game that will be played on December 31, 2021, with kickoff scheduled for 12:00 p.m. EST (10:00 a.m. local MST) on CBS.[3] It will be the 87th edition of the Sun Bowl (after the 2020 edition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic), and will be one of the 2021–22 bowl games concluding the 2021 FBS football season. Sponsored by Kellogg's Frosted Flakes breakfast cereal, the game will be officially known as the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl, after its mascot, Tony the Tiger and will be a rematch of the 2015 Sun Bowl

Teams

Consistent with conference tie-ins, the game will be played between teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and the Pac-12 Conference.

This will be the second meeting between Miami and Washington State; the Cougars defeated the Hurricanes 20-14 in the 2015 Sun Bowl, both teams' only previous meeting thus far.[4]
