2022 Outback Bowl
The 2022 Outback Bowl is a college football bowl game that will be played on January 1, 2022, with kickoff scheduled for 12:00 p.m. EST on ESPN2.[3] It will be the 36th edition of the Outback Bowl, and will be one of the 2021–22 bowl games concluding the 2021 FBS football season. Outback Steakhouse will be the game's title sponsor. The game features the Arkansas Razorbacks (SEC) and the Penn State Nittany Lions (Big Ten).

Teams
Consistent with conference tie-ins, the game will be played between teams from the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and Big Ten Conference. The bowl also has a tie-in with the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).
This will be the first time that Arkansas and Penn State have ever played each other.[4]
