Hopkins Highway

The Hopkins Highway in south-western Victoria, Australia (state route B120) is a short highway serving to link the Hamilton Highway at Mortlake with the Princes Highway (and the western end of the Great Ocean Road nearby) at the port city of Warrnambool.

History

  • 1968 – Ellerslie Bridge, a 271 feet (83 m) five-span prestressed concrete beam and reinforced concrete bridge over the Hopkins River at Ellerslie; the bridge replaced a timber version over 100 years old and originally opened 30 May 1867[2]
