Moon River Estates

Moon River Estates is a hamlet in southern Alberta, Canada within the Municipal District of Willow Creek No. 26[2] that was declared on October 17, 1984.[3] It is located 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) south of Highway 3, approximately 22 kilometres (14 mi) west of Lethbridge.

As a designated place in the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Moon River Estates recorded a population of 126 living in 54 of its 57 total private dwellings, a change of -0.8% from its 2011 population of 127. With a land area of 1.73 km2 (0.67 sq mi), it had a population density of 73.4/km2 (190.1/sq mi) in 2016.[1]

As a designated place in the 2011 Census, Moon River Estates had a population of 127 living in 52 of its 53 total dwellings, a 1.6% change from its 2006 population of 125. With a land area of 0.27 km2 (0.10 sq mi), it had a population density of 470/km2 (1,218/sq mi) in 2011.[4]
